Pale straw in colour with a complex, interesting nose of lemon and cut hay aromas with a fantastic pungent grassy lift this wine is sure to entice. 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz This typical Aussie blend has a luscious rich garnet colour with bright ruby hues. Concentrated deep blackcurrant, plums and spice on the nose with a full and firm dark fruit flavoured palate. An elegant wine with velvety tannins and a layered texture. Hints of mocha from the integrated French and American oak maturation. 2007 Shiraz

A deep Crimson wine with vivid Magenta hues. Luscious deep dark fruits intermingled with pepper and spice are apparent on the nose. The palate is a full firm and rich medley of fruits of the forest, plum, mocha and spice. A sweet fruit palate is balanced with layers of toasty mocha characters from the use of both French and American Oak. A generous wine which will be a great pair to a well marbled eye fillet with red wine jus.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon

This limited release wine is the first release of varietal Cabernet Sauvignon for Wangolina Station. The production was limited to 200 cases of which we are sure the John will drink most. The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was made purely to convince John the yes we can do a good Cabernet and so here it is. This is a deep garnet wine with vivid crimson hue. Ripe Cabernet aromas leap from the glass displaying intense blackcurrant deep black berry with a hint of menthol. This wine is juicy on the palate with a great tannin drying yet elegant tannin structure. The palate has full flavours of black currant and dark fruits, layered with a refined mocha character form the use of both French and American oak. A robust wine that would look fantastic alongside a rich venison and red wine strew.
